Reimagined in 2023, Project Ituri stands as a restored 1989 Perentie 110 FFR soft-top, with a robust Isuzu 4BDI 3.9L Turbo Diesel, a 4-speed manual gearbox, and undergoing a comprehensive ground-up body-off restoration with extensive upgrades and modernisations.
Its adaptable 2-door, 4-passenger design with customisable rear swing-gate conversion rides on new Wolf steel rims with 255/85 R16 BFG KM3 tires. The upgraded suspension system ensures a seamlessly smooth ride, embodying the perfect blend of versatility and performance.
Ituri also features power steering, an enhanced brake system, and overhauled fuelling and cooling systems. Operating with ease is guaranteed by the heavy-duty clutch, while additional features such as a stainless-steel exhaust, extra ignition key, and electrical isolators enhance the overall experience.

Project Ituri features ISRI front seats, re-trimmed in black vinyl that add comfort and style to your overland adventures. Our Arksen extra cab storage design also cleverly integrates over the water tank, maximising space efficiency.
Other highlights include a luxurious Black Alcantara dash top, new clusters, controls, and a metal binnacle, accentuated by USB power for modern connectivity. The full-width Exmoor Trim rubber floor with soundproofing over a composite transmission tunnel makes for a smooth drive whilst a new under-hood A/C / heating system and Perentie doors with classic sliding windows ensure you stay comfortable in any climate.
Ituri is rounded out with an infotainment system with Apple Carplay / Android Auto and other practical interior specs including a black leather-bound Range Rover Classic steering wheel, new centre console with cupholders, reverse camera in the rearview mirror.

Project Ituri is finished in Mojave Silver with a colour matched wheel arches. The custom Arksen extra-cab canvas in Black is a standout feature, boasting full-sized windows, quick-zip roll-up sides and rear, and a roll-back sunroof—all fully removable in minutes. Adaptability is key with configurations on the fly, offering options from closed to open.
In addition to the soundproofing upgrade, other practical details such as integrated bolt-through roof rack mounting pads reminiscent of military originals. The rear-mounted spare wheel on the Rijidij swing-away carrier ensures readiness for any terrain and our design incorporates a body-colored checker plate front guard kit and hood mounts for shovel and axe.
Additional enhancements include LED headlamps and rear lights, winch bumper in black with LED lights, a new hinge kit with stainless steel bolts, and new seals and rubbers throughout. The Arksen Orange signature steering guard, rock sliders, and four integrated exterior storage boxes complete this meticulously crafted masterpiece, ready for both style and adventure.

Project Ituri is designed for exploration with a hood-mounted shovel and axe ready for any unexpected tasks on your journey. The addition of a powerful Warn front winch ensures you're equipped to conquer challenging terrains with confidence, whilst the 20L Front Runner steel jerry can and mount extends your range for the road ahead.
The integrated water tank, paired with a portable pump, guarantees a reliable water source wherever your adventures unfold whilst the auxiliary battery system provides the energy you need for seamless exploration.

The vast canopy of the Ituri Rainforest in Central Africa has evolved over time to create the structure, nourishment and protection required for many species to thrive. Regular tree-falls cut large swathes to open up the forest floor to create new growth and change.
Project Ituri showcases Arksen’s custom designed quick zip canvas roof which can switch between closed, windowed or fully open in a heartbeat. Ituri can also be enjoyed with the sunroof rolled back, or fully removed. Paired with additional rear seating, built in power, water and fridge, Ituri is the ideal exploration platform to allow adventurous families to thrive.
